Privacy policy
Effective October 18, 2026
This policy explains what information family-coordinator.com (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect when you sign in with Google
We only offer sign-in with Google. When you sign in, Google shares with us:
- your name, and your first and last name
- your email address
- a link to your Google profile picture
- your language setting
- your Google account ID (a number that identifies your account to us)
- if you use a Google Workspace account, your organization's domain
We do not receive your Google password, and we do not get access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, files or anything else in your Google account.
What we record ourselves
- Each sign-in attempt: the time, the email address, your IP address and whether it succeeded. We keep this for security.
- If you opt in to our beta: the time you opted in and the exact wording you agreed to.
- If you have an account: the information you and the other members of your account enter into the service.
Why we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- If you do not have an account yet, to keep a record that you signed in and, if you opted in, to email you about our beta.
- To provide the service to account holders.
We do not sell your information, we do not show advertising, and we do not share your information with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
When you sign in, we use one cookie to keep you signed in. It is deleted when you sign out or after 8 hours of inactivity.
Our public pages — the welcome, join, privacy and terms pages here, and parenting-coordinator.com — use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets its own cookies and tells Google which public page you visited, from what kind of device and roughly where. Pages you see after signing in never use Google Analytics, so nothing about your family’s account is sent to it. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.
We do not use advertising or other tracking tools.
Who else handles your information
- Google handles the sign-in itself, under Google's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics measures visits to our public pages only, under Google's privacy policy.
- IONOS, our hosting provider in the United States, stores the website and its database.
We may also disclose information if required by law, such as by a court order.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep beta sign-up information until you ask us to remove it or we no longer need it. Account information is kept while the account is open. Sign-in records are kept as security records.
Your choices
- Every marketing email we send will include a way to unsubscribe.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing privacy@family-coordinator.com.
- You can remove our access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
Children
Accounts for anyone under 18 are created only at the request of a parent or guardian who holds an account. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to information is limited to the people it belongs to.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell people who have accounts or have opted in.
